Your credit card details are encrypted using VeriSign technology (VeriSign, Inc. is the leading provider of digital authentication services and products for electronic commerce and other forms of secure communications. Once encrypted, your details are sent to the above stated bank which identifies you as the cardholder, checks your credit and returns a message verifying if credit is available. If the said reply is positive, the intended sale is made and details of sale (excluding credit card information) are stored on Miranda Publisher’s database. If the reply is negative (no funds available) the said sale is blocked and no details are retained.

Miranda Publisher’s database therefore retains your personal information should you register on the site or purchase from the site. This information however does not include credit card information. Bank of Valletta’s database retains all credit card information & financial information (how much was spent per credit card) with respect to each sale made on the site.
